Client

In February 2013 I went to Jail and became homeless.  While at the shelter I found out about the Destiny program that helps people with re-entry.  I was homeless, out of work, on probation and struggling to survive. Gary from Destiny helped me fill out housing applications and took the time to listen to my story.  Since then I started working and was able to secure housing with the help of the Destiny program.  The program helped pay my security deposit and my first weeks rent which allowed me to leave the shelter. I was so grateful to finally have my own place and be able to return to school in June to enter my final year of my MBA program at the University of Phoenix. Without the help of Destiny and the Faith Re-entry Collaborative, I have no idea where I would be.
